Minority as a Victim of Dissent
Abstract
In this paper, the Sri Lankan context of Sinhalese - Tamil conflict has been used as a foreground to comment upon the idea of dissent, nature of dissent and its repercussions and collateral damage on any existent minority. Discrimination and the creation of differentiation on the basis of that has been explored in this paper. Formation of identity and its crisis would also be analyzed. Migration and exile are other themes have also been investigated.
