How gently time drifts away
Never leaving a trace,
Not a shred of speck is left behind,
Still yearning for those misty days.
I came with a sullen heart,
Leaving with a chirpy soul
The waves all trembling,
Roaring full of memories.
How blissfully had time flown
Never once made me turn around.
Now I retrace my own steps
To gaze at those beautiful days.
How the dust of life
Truly captured my mind
The unending peace
Dazzling the flame.
I look forward to hover someday,
Someday very soon
The giggles and laughers,
And the homely hues.
